Leif Norway is the language training project of NOR-GER Trade + Service Roman Jahn. We are a Norwegian company and operate under Norwegian law. By using our services, users consent to this. We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation (GDPR). We only collect what is necessary to conduct courses and follow up on participants - such as name, email address and contact information.

Your rights
As a data subject, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Basis for processing
We process personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Agreement: To fulfil a contract we have with you, e.g. registration and execution of courses (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

  • Legal obligation: To fulfil legal obligations, e.g. the Bookkeeping Act (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

  • Consent: When voluntarily registering for newsletters or marketing (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

  • Legitimate interest: In order to provide and improve our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).


Storage time
We store personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, and in line with statutory requirements. Information related to course participation is normally stored for up to 2 years after completion of the course, unless the law requires longer storage.

Third-party suppliers
We use certain subcontractors to deliver our services, such as suppliers of e-mail distribution, accounting systems and website administration. These subcontractors only process personal data on our behalf and by agreement (data processing agreement).

Transfer outside the EU/EEA
If we use suppliers that process data outside the EU/EEA, we ensure that the transfer takes place in accordance with the GDPR, e.g. by using the European Commission's standard contracts.
